Educational Tour

Our research has shown that children and youth have a great deal of influence in their homes with respect to waste generation and disposal. Many of our education events are geared towards these age groups.

Below are some of the activities and tools that our educators use in classroom settings. They are here for you to use free of charge.

We welcome your feedback. Please send your comments and photos of your class learning about the Orange Drop program to orangedrop@stewardshipontario.ca.

Activity Posters

The following activity posters are what the Orange Drop Education Team presents on our school visits for grades 1-8. A teacher's guide is included in each download so you can also use these on your own.

Students learn about the BUD system (Buy what you need, Use it all up, Drop off the rest to be recycled) and are introduced to the Orange Drop Program. Teacher companion included with download.
